Meet Jayna, MA, LPCC
Having worked in the mental health field since 2015, I have had the privilege of working alongside people from numerous walks of life through different seasons of their lives. Therapeutic relationships are deeply meaningful to me and shape who I am and the foundation of how I practice.
I believe healing and change becomes more accessible when we experience safety, connection and support. I combine traditional talk therapy with somatic approaches to address the mind-body connection.
My personal and professional experiences shape my approach in how I support your exploration of how your unique story, relationships and environment influence who you are today. I strive to create a space where every part of you is welcome.

The Beliefs That Shape My Practice
-
I value your personal experience, knowledge, perspective and values in your therapeutic journey.
-
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial. Having a safe space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood creates the capacity for real change.
-
I aim to create a safe, affirming space where every part of you is welcome.
-
I believe it’s crucial to emphasize our wins, make space for joy, and reconnect with what feels meaningful. Therapy can hold both the hard moments and the laughter, celebration and hope.
-
I consider aspects of identity, culture, social, historical and political context when meeting for therapy. I value communal healing and ground my practice in collective knowledge and strengths. I believe that we are deeply influenced by the identities we hold, the generations of those who came before us, societal expectations and the systems we are a part of.
